In this workshop, we will focus on the topics of i) establishment and coordination of national laboratory networks to support national surveillance of antimicrobial resistance and ii) pedagogical training for carrying out capacity building activities for reliable detection and characterisation of Salmonella and Campylobacter. It will further include sessions that promote the development of communication and didactic capacities, strategies to improve harmonisation of national methods and increased cooperation, and approaches to the practical organisation of physical and virtual training courses, exercises and workshops.
